Metacognition

Metacognition is like "thinking about your thinking." It’s when you step back and reflect on how you learn, solve problems, or make decisions. For example, asking yourself, Why did I get this wrong? or What strategies worked best for me? It’s about being aware of your own learning process and using that awareness to improve. In short, metacognition is your brain’s way of being its own coach.
