Learning Outcomes
Learning outcomes are the actual results of learning—what students actually know, understand, or can do after a lesson, course, or program. Think of them as the "proof" that learning has happened. For example, if the learning objective was "solve basic multiplication problems," the learning outcome would be the student successfully solving those problems on a test or in real life. In short, learning outcomes show the impact of teaching and learning, answering the question: What did students actually achieve? They’re the evidence that the learning objectives were met.
