Schema

A schema is like a "mental filing cabinet" where your brain organizes and stores information based on what you already know. For example, if you’ve seen many dogs, your brain has a "dog schema" that includes things like fur, barking, and wagging tails. When you see a new dog, your brain uses this schema to recognize it quickly. In short, schemas are the frameworks in your mind that help you make sense of the world by connecting new information to what you already know.
