Sensorimotor Stage

The Sensorimotor Stage is the first step in a child’s thinking development, from birth to about 2 years old. During this time, babies learn about the world through their senses (like touching and tasting) and actions (like grabbing and crawling). They also start to understand that things exist even when they can’t see them (like a toy hidden under a blanket). In short, it’s about babies exploring and figuring out the world around them.
