No Child Left Behind

No Child Left Behind (NCLB) was a U.S. law that aimed to make sure all students, no matter their background, got a good education. It required schools to test students regularly and show that they were improving in reading and math. If schools didn’t meet goals, they had to make changes to help students do better. In short, it was about holding schools accountable and making sure every child had a chance to succeed.
