Behaviourism

Behaviourism is a way of understanding learning that focuses on actions and behaviors, rather than thoughts or feelings. It’s based on the idea that people learn through rewards and consequences. For example, if a student gets praised (a reward) for doing well on a test, they’re more likely to study hard again. Or if they face a consequence for misbehaving, they’re less likely to do it again. In short, behaviourism is about shaping behavior through positive reinforcement and consequences, like training a pet with treats or time-outs.
